The church secretary is retiring after 27 years on the job! I do not have a retirement stamp so decided Congrats would work!

Whimsie Wednesday Challenge # 68

Alicia has a challenge to create a project for a weird/odd holiday. I Googled and found this site http://www.holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/february.htm and it has Feb. 22 "Walking the Dog" day. I remember from the past a song and dance called Walking the Dog so I did another search and found that Rufus Thomas sang it in 1965. So I used the music folder and embossed the background.
Very fun challenge....go over and check it out.

My daughter Lisa has opened a Craft and Hobby store in Ottumwa, Ia.

She had a cardmaking class today and I bought a few new items while there.

I love this cuttlebug folder and the letters.

Getting older isn't half bad when you are blessed with family and friends that treat you special on that day. In fact I have been celebrating for 3 days now!!! Thanks everyone for making my day!!!
