Sunny Sunday in Iowa

It is a beautiful morning in Iowa and I soon will be outside doing a few things in the yard.

I did this envelope card for Michy's challenge on Lil' Scrappers.

Have a great day and enjoy Spring!

Rainy day in Iowa

Good evening and hope you are having as much rain as Iowa is!
It has been cloudy and raining here all day. I did get a card make for Heidi "April Card Kit Challenge" though.
It was a fun sketch! Thanks Heidi. She has lots of great items on
her blog.

Flight and Fancy

Made this card for challenge at Cardvark Flight &Fancy!
Great challenge and lots of great creative ideas there.
Hi
It is a cloudy day in Iowa but it is not snowing or raining.
I have a couple more cards I wanted to share.
The past week end Mustang Sarah had a blogoversary celebration.
She had three great challenges and these are 2 of my creations for the challenges. She had great prizes and I won the drawing for the largest prize. I was so thrilled and can hardly wait for it to arrive.
Thanks Sarah for a great celebration and the wonderful prize!

The Bella image to the left was a paper piecing challenge on Sarah's blog and it was my first experience with that technique and I really plan to do more.
Enjoy the rest of day!

Good Morning!

Well, it seems like Spring may have come to Iowa! I am more than ready for warmer weather and to get outside without the winter coats and paraphernalia.
I have been cleaning flowers beds, raking leaves and taking down an arbor and fence in my back yard. Thursday a new vinyl fence and arbor will be delivered and I am waiting for a dry day when it can be installed. Sure hope that is soon. Once I decide to do something I really like it to get done quickly......no matter if it did take years to decide to act. :)

I spent last week creating! Scrap Shotz had a week end crop, Sarah was celebrating a blogoversary and Linda was posting challenges on PCA. I have a hard time resisting a challenge so here are some of my creations. These are part of the challenges on PCA.

Posting two nights in a row!

I am here tonight to shout out about the April Issue of Sheetload.

It is an awesome one this month! My daughter Alicia is the creator of Sheetload and my daughter Lisa supplied the artist with SU materials to make the sample cards. Also a guest artist this month go here to see the preview of April Sheetload.

Good evening!

Wow! How could it be almost a month since I have posted. I will try to do better but no promises.

Just after my last post I had the influenza and am just now beginning to feel good and have some energy. I was supposed to go to my daughter's and had to postpone the trip for a week. I did get to spend two wonderful weeks with her and family. My granddaughter will be 2 this month and what a joy she is. So full of energy and wonderment. Oh, if we could all just keep the enthusiasm of a toddler.

I have made many cards and altered items but did not take pictures of any while at my daughter's. We did craft most evenings after granddaughter went to sleep. It was so much fun and I did purchase some items that I had to have for card making.

Here are some recent cards that I have made.

A friend gave me some old greeting cards to alter and these are what I made her to say "Thanks"

This card was for a March challenge on PCA board.

The above cards are a couple that I made using the April Sheetload. They did turn out as I had planned. :)

The following cards I have made for April challenges on PCA

And last for tonight.......A wallet card/photo holder that was the make-n-take on Scrap Shotz tonight presented by new design team member, Michy.

That is it for tonight. Aren't you glad? Happy Spring!
