Christmas tree getting closer to decorated!!!

I am getting closer to having it finished. I am not rushing to decorate and enjoying it much more this way.

Christmas Tree

Every year I say I am not putting this huge tree up again and then I think it is so pretty when up and decorated. :) I hope my little granddaughter will see it for the first time. She hasn't been at my house since she was big enough to remember.

I have been using clear lights for soooooooo many years and decided to use colored this year but need to buy some more to finish the top.  Will share another pic when it is finished.

Candy bar wrapper

Made these cute little pilgrim candy bar wrappers for the ladies in my Bible study class. They were so fun to make.

A flock of angels

 What do you call a group of angels?

Since they have wings I decided a flock would do. I am making angels for my circle at church.

They have been lots of fun to make.  TFL

Precious Friend

Visited a friend yesterday. She and I have been friends since high school. Just wanted to let her know that I enjoyed our day together and value her friendship! The squares in this card are ones that my daughter cut when visiting a few years ago.

We covered a pumpkin with them and of course I saved the extra ones thinking they would be useful.

Well, took awhile but I finally used them. :)

I have a Kings daughter luncheon on Friday and decided to make these tiny favors for the tables. I will put a mint in each. Hope my fellow members like them.

They are Iowa Hawkeye fans so hope they will like them. Going to start on a scarf now.

Second 2012 calendar cover

The colors are much prettier in real life! I really like these flowers. My daughter also gave me these. Sure is nice to have her and her give-a-ways!!!!

20012 Calendar

My daughter found these desk calendars at Target $1 spot when I was visiting her.

She thought about recovering them and so I ask her to pick me up a few. Here is my first new covering.

I think they will make nice christmas gifts for friends.
