Die Cuttin Divas' Challenge

Die Cuttin Divas have posted their first challenge and I am excited to have a site to use some of my cutting tools. I made this holder for a friends birthday in place of a card and will add a couple sweet treats inside. A little message can be written on inside of flap.

Used my Cuttlebug and Quickutz Butterfly.

More gift card holders

Every month friends at church go to lunch to celebrate birthdays. We just get "birthday girls"
a card so I made these gift card holders and plan to put a couple candies in each to wish them a sweet birthday.
I used and Orbit gum holder to make the pattern.

a good one. Not frilly just clean and simple. What do you think?

Thinking of You

Received sad news yesterday that my son-in-law's mother passed. I have never met her because she live in Netherlands. Wish I could have met her because she raised such a fine son and had to be a great mother. I am so sorry for him and his sister's loss. Made a card for his sister and family. Sympathy cards are always hard and so simple is best to me.

I really like this sentiment so I made a couple cards with it.

Made this card for my grand daughter. I sometimes call her sweetie pie pie and she will ask
me why I call her that. Guess it is because she is so sweet!!!!

Valentine time

Haven't been making many cards lately so today decided to start on Valentines.
Glad to be crafting again and want to get some cards made to give my friends for their use.

Used these free digi sentiments from Raindrops and decided to not do either of these choices and make cards until snow and sleet ends.

I had these snowflakes from the edge punch and decided to attach to card. Adds a little something.
