Good Morning!

I should be in Kansas now but due to influenza I had to cancel my trip. I have rescheduled it for tomorrow and I am feeling much better. Can't wait to get there to see my daughter and family.
I have made a few Easter cards I'd like to share with you.
Made this group of cards from Sheetload for this month.
Found this cute bunny and had to make this card.
Have a great week end!

It's Monday already?

The week end flies by when you are in an online crop! :)

Today I worked on one card. Lindsay had posted a "inspire me" picture and here is my take on it.
Iowa has had so much snow this winter! I am very tired of winter and excited to see the first flowers of Spring but not any in site and not much hope for anytime soon. More snow predicted for tonight and so if Spring is not coming I am trying to make a paper flower garden.
Have a great afternoon and evening and thanks for stopping by!

Sunday evening and the week end crop is over.

Saturday night challenges were great. Made a couple items that were lots of fun.

This one is a tri fold card for my granddaughter's second birthday.

It has the little band to keep it together.

This pattern can be a card or a photo display so I made one to match the card to display a couple birthday pictures!

I made a few St. Patrick's Day cards today.

Finally I made this card for a challenge on PCA but I am sick of snow. Can't wait for Spring to get here.

Thanks for looking.

Online crop week end

I love the online crop week ends. I never create anything very great but I have lots of fun and learn some new ideas.

This mini album is made with three envelopes. It was fun to make and maybe my second one will be better. Seems like the first one for me is always a learning experience.

I did this scrapbook page in steps. We were given one step at a time and had no idea what the page was going to look like. There were 5 steps and it was so much fun to just follow the directions and see what happened.

The last thing I made tonight was a Skinny card (2 1/2 x 5 1/2). It was fun and easy to make.
That is it for tonight. Hope to have more to share tomorrow.

Snowy Winter!

My daughter just left a comment that I should update so guess I will do that.
It has been a snowy winter in Iowa. I have shoveled so much snow this year that I haven't
had time to update. ;) Actually I have tried to update a couple times and the post did not work for some reason and I did not want to typed the same thing twice.
I have been trying lots of new ideas and making albums and cards but really so far behind on posting that I will try to do better.
There is an online crop tonight so maybe I will have something to post tomorrow. Thanks for looking!

Two more days of 2007

Here are pictures of albums!

The year is about over and hope it has been mostly good for all of you. I have had a wonderful year with very few problems. I am thankful for that and thinking of and praying for all those who have been through bad times. Hopefully 2008 will be a new beginning and a blessing.
I have been having fun making the accordion album that is on 2 peas. I am making one for my self with Christmas pictures and beginning one for my GD for her birthday that she can put her pictures in this year.
My DDs are joining me tonight and we are going to have a long distance crop night.
Hope it works out so we can do it more often.

Hillary Clinton was in Burlington

I forgot to post that I attended a rally for Hillary Clinton a few days before Christmas. I enjoyed it very much and wanted to go up after speech and meet her but she had so many people wanting to do the same I decided to pass.
December 26 she, Bill and Chelsea were in Mt. Pleasant. I was having a little stomach problem. Probably ate too much junk during holidays. I did go to Mt. Pleasant but because they were going to be 2 hours late and I was really not feeling very well I came home without seeing them, darn!
